National Mould Experts is run by Harber Glaves Trading Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16605946). Its registered office is Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. Despite the word "National" in the name, we are not a government body, a regulator, a trade association or an official scheme, and we are not a mould removal company.
What we do
- We publish plain-English guidance on mould, damp and condensation in UK homes.
- If you fill in our enquiry form, your details go to Better Home Hub, which looks for a suitable mould or damp specialist and introduces you.
- The specialist is an independent business. They may pay Better Home Hub a fee for the introduction. Asking is free for you and you don't have to go ahead.
What we don't do
- We don't inspect homes, test for mould or carry out any treatment or repairs.
- We don't guarantee a specialist's work, and we can't promise that a specialist will be available in every area or by a particular time.
- We don't hold any trade accreditation ourselves. If a specialist tells you they belong to a trade body or scheme, check it on that organisation's own website.
- Our articles are general information, not medical or legal advice.
How we write our advice
We base health, housing and legal information on official sources, such as the government's guidance on the health risks of damp and mould, Awaab's Law guidance for social housing, and the English Housing Survey, and link to them so you can read the original.
